Resourcefulness: An Introduction to the Energy-Water Nexus is an educational initiative focused on educating and motivating us to be more resourceful about the way we use energy and water. Our goal is to increase awareness about the impact of our current energy and water consumption, the benefits of energy efficiency, the interconnectedness between energy and water, and the importance of modernizing the electricity grid and deploying smart city technologies.

Resourcefulness began as an academic curriculum authored by Dr. Michael E. Webber of the University of Texas at Austin. We’ve partnered with Itron, a global business leader and STEM employer, as part of their ongoing investments in education and corporate social responsibility. Education plays a critical role in inspiring the next generation of innovators to help solve the world’s greatest challenges.
